Jen Palmer grew up taking dance at Becky Seamster Dance Studio in Kokomo since the age of 7 and has trained in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, and lyrical. She has been teaching all styles of dance for 26 years. When Becky retired 4 years ago, it was only natural for her to take over ownership of the studio. Last summer, she completed a Tap Teachers Training Program and has seen remarkable improvement in the students while implementing techniques learned through the program. She has attend the Dance Teacher Web conference. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in both Business Administration and Elementary Education. She taught at Western Intermediate School for 8 years before making the transition into owning the studio. Jen has also been traveling the country directing various dance competitions since 2001. Jen is also very active with the Distinguished Young Women of Howard County program. She is now the Judge’s Chairman for both Howard and Grant County’s DYW programs along with being the choreographer for Howard County.
